Haussmann, in partnership with The Carlyle Group, is in the design and planning phase of 566 Grand Avenue. The site is located within the Atlantic Avenue Mixed Use Plan, a recently rezoned section of Brooklyn near Prospect Park and the Barclay Center. The nearly full-block site will be transformed into a 99-unit mixed use building, featuring a mix of studios, ones and twos. The project will be built pursuant to New York’s 485-x tax abatement program and Mandatory Inclusionary Housing program, providing long-term tax benefits while delivering permanently affordable housing. Haussmann strongly believes that 566 Grand represents the most viable site within this rezoned neighborhood, which will transform into Brooklyn’s next dynamic mixed-use neighborhood.
